Staffing One employees,

As you all know, the Coronavirus is spreading in the US and throughout the world. While there is still much about the virus we do not know, we are confident that the following recommendations may help to reduce your risk of contracting or spreading the virus:

If you or a family member are sick, stay home!

Wash your hands frequently. Wash your hands with soap for 20 seconds and/or use a greater than 60% alcohol-based hand sanitizer, especially when you return home. Remember to scrub the tips of your fingers and under your nails, too!

NO HANDSHAKING! Use a fist bump, elbow bump, or a wave and a smile.

Do not touch your face with your hands unless you have just washed them.

Do not use your fingers to flip light switches, press elevator buttons, lift the gasoline pump dispenser, open doors, etc. Use your knuckles, elbow, forearm, or use disposable gloves or a paper towel. This is especially important for bathroom doors and other doors in public places.

Use disinfectant wipes at stores and restaurants when they are available. Better yet, carry your own wipes.

Sanitize objects that you and a lot of other people touch.

If possible, cough or sneeze into a disposable tissue and discard. If no tissue is available use your elbow only if you must. Your clothing will contain infectious virus that can be passed on for up to a week or more! If you are sick or around others who are sick, consider using a sanitizing laundry detergent.

Drink lots of water and stay hydrated so your skin and mucous membranes don’t dry out.

Eat well and do things to support your immune system.

Do not kiss sick people.

Finally, if you have symptoms (the symptoms of the Coronavirus are a cough, fever, and some aches and pains, typical flu-like symptoms) call your primary care provider immediately and they can direct you on what to do/not do.

It appears that we are going to see an increase in the number of coronavirus cases in the coming days. Following the recommendations outlined above may greatly slow down the spread of the disease and insure the best possible outcome. Thank you and be safe.
