Would like to sell these finally.

They were made using the Japanese method of Yakisugi or "shou sugi ban" as known here in the West. It's a decorative preservation method normally used outdoors charring wood to create a textural and detailed surface. I used a torch to char the wood and then sanded both of them to create a smooth finish and show the details of the wood. One was coated with an orange stain to create a Halloween effect.
