SUSTAINABLY RESPONSIBLE BY DESIGN

Good design considers more than form.

The Printz™ family reflects a thoughtful approach to both material and process. Each shade is produced through large-format additive manufacturing, building material only where it’s required and reducing waste associated with traditional fabrication methods.

Printz shades are manufactured from PETG containing 85% post-industrial recycled content, selected for its performance and responsible material profile.

Designed for long service life in architectural environments, the material can also be recycled where appropriate thermoplastic streams exist. Printz additionally meets the material restrictions of the RoHS Directive, supporting responsible specification.

Intentional in process. Designed with responsibility in mind.

Precision layers. Uninterrupted form.

3D printing is the process. Additive manufacturing is the broader methodology behind it. With Printz, both are used deliberately.

Each shade is built layer by layer, enabling continuous curves and integrated structural transitions without seams, molds, or forced part lines. The fabrication method allows greater control over proportion, geometry, and surface articulation.

The result is a form that reads clean and complete from every angle — contemporary in its production, disciplined in its design.

Three Forms. Three Expressions of Printz.

Ola™
A sweeping, fluid silhouette inspired by the motion of waves. Curved geometry introduces softness and movement, bringing calm rhythm and dimensional depth to contemporary interiors.

Cosma™
A smooth, tapered profile recalling classic mid-century forms. Its low, horizontal silhouette delivers graphic clarity and balanced proportion, allowing the sculptural shade to define presence without glare.

Hela™
A gently flared form with quiet confidence. Its rounded profile and restrained curvature create visual warmth and timeless integration across modern and transitional spaces.

Each luminaire is produced as one continuous 3D printed form through large-scale additive manufacturing.

SCULPTURAL. EXPRESSIVE. 3D PRINTED.

Printz™ by OCL introduces a new approach to decorative architectural lighting.

Produced through large-scale additive manufacturing, each luminaire is printed as one continuous form. This allows uninterrupted geometry and dimensional surface detail that traditional fabrication methods cannot easily achieve.

Rather than concealing the inherent character of the printed material, Printz embraces it. Surface texture is integral to the structure, not applied after fabrication.

The collection launches with three distinct forms — Cosma™, Ola™, and Hela™ — each available in multiple diameters, 11 colors, and several mounting configurations.
