Point Elementary School

We're excited to welcome Mr. Ricky Romine as Point's new P.E. teacher! Here's a message from Mr. Romine:

"Hello! My name is Ricky Romine, and I'm excited to be joining the Point Elementary family. I graduated from Southeast Missouri State University and am entering my 3rd year as an elementary physical education teacher.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy staying active through hiking, golfing, coaching, and all things fitness and sports. I am newly married, and my wife and I just welcomed home our first puppy, Birdie.

I have a strong passion for teaching and coaching, and I love helping students build confidence, stay active, and develop a lifelong appreciation for physical activity.

I can't wait to get to know the students, staff, and families at Point Elementary and am looking forward to an amazing school year!"

If you have a new student who will be attending Point this fall, please complete registration as soon as possible to give our staff time to finish classroom assignments, procure technology, etc. so your child is ready to go on the first day of school! Visit msdr9.com/enroll to get started!

If you have a new student who will attend the Mehlville School District for the 2026-2027 school year and you haven’t completed registration yet, please do so as soon as possible!

We had so much fun meeting our newest Eagles at our Kindergarten Playdate!

While the summer heat sent us indoors after some time on the playground, the fun continued with plenty of smiles, laughter, and opportunities for our incoming kindergarteners to make new friends and get excited about starting school.

We can't wait to welcome these amazing students to Point this fall!
