Safety Week at Concrete Strategies is driven by strong collaboration and hands-on learning across our jobsites, supported by our trusted partners.
At our CLT 17 project, teams participated in engaging sessions focused on heat stress awareness, including recognizing symptoms and implementing effective mitigation strategies. The interactive format encouraged workforce participation and reinforced critical safety practices as temperatures rise.
At Mod Corr in Lincoln, NE, we also welcomed partners from Whitecap and The Shur Group, who led discussions on ladder safety, fall protection, and safe practices beyond the jobsite. Their team brought additional resources for crews and helped create an engaging and impactful experience, supported by translation to ensure the message reached everyone.
At our Platte City project, crews took part in a fall protection demonstration with Shur Group (3M, DBI-SALA, Protecta), covering key equipment and techniques including beam wrap anchors, slide beam clamp anchors, roof anchor plates, and proper full body harness adjustments.
At Blue River Commerce Center No 6, the team hosted a Safety Stand-Down with Diablo, featuring tool demonstrations and comparisons, including dustless systems and proper tool selection, along with Spanish translation to support clear communication across the workforce.
Thank you to all of our partners for supporting our teams and helping reinforce a strong, collaborative culture of safety across every jobsite.

Safety Week at Concrete Strategies is also a time to celebrate the milestones and people that make our jobsites successful.
At our data center project in New Mexico, the team came together for a Safety Week luncheon while celebrating an incredible achievement of over 1 million man-hours worked on the project, a reflection of the team’s commitment to working safely every day. The event was further highlighted by a visit from a New Mexico State Representative, who joined the team on site and shared remarks recognizing the importance of safety and the impact of the work being performed.
To top it off, the team also celebrated a special moment by wishing our newest PE, Eribeth, a happy 30th birthday.
Moments like these highlight the strong culture and teamwork that drive safety on our projects.
