Steve and I are trying to update the AWP User List so current students have access to jobs and other fun stuff on AWP's website. If you're interested being put on this list, shoot Melanie Whithaus an email at [email protected] for more information.

What I need from you: First and last name, UMSL email (or if you already have an AWP account, use that email instead), and your expected graduation date.

We want all current students to have access to these perks, so contact me ASAP so I can get the updated list in :) Thanks!!!

Rion Almicar Scott will read from his award winning debut short story collection, Insurrections, on February 21, Tuesday, 7 pm, Gallery 210, UMSL north campus (next to the UMSL north metrolink stop). A reception will be held before the reading at 6:15, so visitors can visit with Rion. Q&A following reading.

Books sold before and after.

His short story collection, Insurrections (University Press of Kentucky) was published in August 2016 and was chosen for The Rumpus's Book Club. Wolf Tickets is forthcoming from Tiny Hardcore Press. Presently, he teaches English at Bowie State University.
