Tuesday was the day for my monthly infusion. Which comes with a one to three day migraine, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, all followed by 3 or 4 more days of exhaustion. My Dr.’s advice is, most importantly stay hydrated. Which I manage. Green Tea, Water, Body Armor. Yesterday I was due for my weekly Tirzepitide. I chose to allow myself an extra day of recovery before the GLP-1 injection, so I postponed that till today.
This week, 2 Dr’s Appts for me and the Vet for my dog.
Next week, I have one Dr’s appointment and one medical procedure (spinal steroid injection).
On my best week, if I cook a meal, let’s say on Tuesday my body will be out of the energy for one to two following days. If I say go to a store, shopping, that amount of walking will put me back on the couch or in bed down with severe back pain for a good two or three days.
If I chop an onion, the muscles and tendons in my elbows and shoulder, will punish me for days.
If I’m lucky enough to plan my weekend so that I’m home all weekend resting, I might be able to make it to a Monday evening committee meeting. Might! And if I do, the process of getting ready and getting there, attending, and sitting still, paying attention, and hopefully getting home… That’ll be about the only thing I accomplish for a week.
If I stay home and rest all week, relying on my hired hands to run the show, if I’m lucky, I can make it to a charity event on Friday night.

Now going from spending 30 years building companies and building professionals, empowering individuals, networking for business and community,80 hour workweeks … To this! Well, It’s enough to drive a lesser person insane.!. But it’s all I got and I’m not ready to give up yet.

As to those who insult me, demean me, mock me, judge me… Go f**k yourself! You’re not as great as you think you are!!!!!

for Lunch (Dinner) today ... a Bacon Egg and Cheese sandwich on wheat. As my largest meal of the day, I add a 3rd piece of toast, 3rd Egg, and 2 servings of Bacon instead of one. Using of course, whole grain bread, Olive Oil based butter, draining the bacon grease away from the meat as cooking. Not an everyday meal, but a nice reminder of homemade breakfasts my Mom used to make.
