Linda ❤️

Some stories remind us why rescue matters.

When Linda came to Needy Paws Rescue, she was severely underweight, covered in fleas and ticks, and too frightened to even accept a gentle touch. Found alone in a ditch by a kind stranger, she was given a chance to heal—and with months of patience, love, and dedicated foster care, she slowly learned to trust again.

Today, Linda is safe, healthy, and thriving. She loves having canine friends by her side and has come so far—but her best chapter is still waiting to be written.

Linda is now available for adoption and is looking for a calm, patient home with a confident dog to help her continue building confidence. Could you be the happy ending she’s been waiting for? ❤️🐾

Terra likes to pretend she's a cat. Like, she's very dedicated to the bit.

She's small (approximately 30lbs...the size of a very large cat). She's low energy and really likes to cuddle. She ignores other cats (probably because she's worried if she pays attention to them, they may notice she's not actually a cat, but that's just a theory). She likes to sit high up. She doesn't really bark, but we think we've heard her meow a few times. She's a bit shy until she knows you.

A total cat dog.

We know what you're thinking..."this dog's head is huge! Her brain must be even bigger". Alas though, you are incorrect. While very sweet, Brada is not destined to be the next member of Mensa. She is the dog equivalent of losing your glasses on top of your head. Or not being able to find your phone when you're holding it in your hand. She's three potatoes short of a gallon.

Brada, while an incredibly nice dog, has a head full of acorns. Sometimes we think we can hear them rattling around when it's extra quiet. What she lacks in brains though, she makes up for in personality. She is 2026's Miss Congeniality. She's never met a human she doesn't like, including small children, introverts and people who are generally just kind of weird. She's not picky. If you have a hand for throwing tennis balls and a lap for sitting, you're her new favorite person.

So come on. Don't judge this dummy by her cover. She's going to make someone the best friend. And she'll laugh at all your jokes. Mostly because she doesn't get them but she doesn't want you to know that.

Don't tell Willow she's small. She won't believe you anyway. She may only be 8 pounds, but she's ready to conquer the world. She is small but mighty. Willow can slam a revolving door. Willow built the vet clinic she was born in. She doesn't need a watch because she decides what time it is. She is a force to be reckoned with.

She's so small that she can't jump on to furniture, so she scales her foster's legs to arrive at her destination. She is looking for a family who is active...and maybe has a desire to pursue agility one day.

Think it could be you? Apply today!

Special guy looking for a special home!

This is Elmo. Elmo is quirky. Sure he's a little weird, but aren't we all?

Elmo is slow to warm. He isn't just going to hand out love- he makes you work for it. But when you get to a place where he trusts you, it's alllllll worth it. He will shower you with affection, zoomies and tail wags.

He'd do best in a quiet home without a ton of visitors, a fence (he's a bit of a door dasher) and someone who understands how to gain the trust of a shy guy.

Think it could be you? Apply today to meet him!

Every time we look at this photo, it makes us giggle.

Doesn't it look like he just told a dad joke and is waiting for us to laugh?

That's especially funny to us because his name is Joker. And boy is he a joker. He's funny, friendly and a bit of a class clown. This one year old guy is a delight to have around and keeps us entertained. Do you like the funny guys? Apply today!
