This one takes me right back to those late ’90s and early 2000s kitchens… orange wood everywhere. 😅

And listen, I love a little pizzazz as much as the next person. But there’s something about walking into a kitchen that just feels calm. Everything works together, nothing is fighting for attention, and it instantly makes your home feel more peaceful.

One thing I loved about this home is that it already had beautiful architectural details and arches throughout. But the arch over the kitchen was competing with everything else. By simplifying it, those other details actually get to shine, and the whole house feels much more cohesive.

For this kitchen, we paired a warm stained island with creamy cabinets, soft gold hardware, and finishes that complement each other instead of compete. It’s warm, timeless, and a space that feels just as good as it looks.
