Georgia,
a community health worker from the Southeast region of Missouri,
just earned her doula certification

— and in doing so,
she’s helping the CHW Coalition expand something we are incredibly proud of.

More than 10% of our local CHW workforce in the St Louis Metro Region
are dually certified as doulas...
that’s more than 45 people, in our 400+ local workforce.

Let that sink in.

These are community health workers who didn’t just stop at one credential.

They said and.

They added another layer of care,
another skill,
another way to show up for the families
and communities that need them most.

Georgia is now carrying that legacy into Southeast Missouri
and we couldn’t be more excited about what that means for her region.

This is what the CHW Coalition is built on.

People who lead, learn, and earn,
and then turn around and pour it back into their communities.

Fundraising Season is upon us and we are highlighting the lovely teens of Outstanding Starz.

Ever year the dance organization hosts a Gala that showcases not only all the young ladies in the program from elementary through high-school. It's also a night to raise money for the graduating seniors.

These young ladies demonstrate great character, skills and leadership.
