So many numbers, crazy, but what do they mean? How do we put this into context?

First, let's talk about the size of the market. $2 trillion is a large amount of money, but did you know that Apple and Microsoft, by themselves, are worth more than the entire crypto market today, with each being worth above $2 trillion? While the cryptocurrency market is large and getting larger, traditional stocks and stock market are still a dominating force.

Similar to the stock market, there are 456 exchanges that hold a variety of crytpocurrencies (up to 17,499!) that can be bought and traded. For the majority of the exchanges, you will find Bitcoin and Ethereum as they make up a bulk of the value of the overall crypto market as they are the more popular and established cryptocurrencies.

What's the difference between a stock and an ETF? We got you covered! Buying a stock is like purchasing a share of a company, while buying an ETF (or exchange-traded fund) is like buying a basket of investments (it could be stocks, bonds, commodities, or other investments).

DM us if you have any specific questions about the differences!

Before you invest your money, take a minute to learn your options! Each option is appealing in its own way and presents its own risk and rewards.

Emily and Katie hold their dollars in a mixture of investments to diversify risk and potentially increase returns. After reviewing your investing options, talk with a financial advisor or determine your own (mix of) investments that make sense for you.
