Today Rabbi Ze’ev Smason led another engaging session of his monthly Mirowitz Center program, The ABCs of Judaism, this time exploring "Reflections on 250 Years of Jewish Life in America."

Today's presentation was also the final installment of our Celebrate America @250 series, co-sponsored by AARP. We took a look back at the remarkable contributions of Jewish immigrants throughout our nation's history. From culture and innovation to civic life and public service, it was inspiring to learn how generations of Jewish Americans have helped shape the country we know today.

Another wonderful Improv for Life class at the Mirowitz Center today! Led by John Wilson, The J’s Director of Cultural Arts, we practiced thinking on our feet and expressing ourselves with confidence, sharing plenty of laughs along the way. It was an hour filled with creativity, fun, and meaningful interaction.

Today at the Mirowitz Center, we enjoyed an engaging conversation with Marketing Executive Jeff Leonard, who shared insights from the “Advance STL” series published in the St. Louis Business Journal over the past three years. He explored the challenges facing the St. Louis region, particularly downtown, and examined what it will take for our community to thrive alongside other major cities. Jeff encouraged attendees to think about how each of us can take responsibility for helping transform our region, sparking thoughtful discussion and plenty of ideas for the future.
