A New Emblem. The Same Unshakable Commitment.

Today, I am proud to introduce the new official emblem of UFCW Local 88.

This is more than a new design. It is a reflection of who we are, where we've been, and where we're going.

For more than 125 years, Local 88 has stood shoulder to shoulder with the hardworking men and women who keep our communities fed. From our meat cutters and deli associates to seafood specialists, retail professionals, warehouse workers, and every member who wears our union with pride—our strength has always come from our people.

Our new emblem honors that legacy while embracing the future. Every element tells part of our story:
• The Gateway Arch represents our proud St. Louis roots.
• The diverse workers represent the faces of today's Local 88 and the generations that will carry our union forward.
• The products of our trades remind us that skilled union labor is essential to every community.
• EST. 1900 serves as a powerful reminder that our foundation was built by those who came before us—and it is now our responsibility to build something even stronger for those who come after us.

A logo doesn't define a union.
Our members do.

This emblem represents every contract we negotiate, every grievance we fight, every new member we welcome, every family we help support, and every victory we achieve together.

As we move into this next chapter, our mission remains unchanged:
To protect workers.
To raise standards.
To organize for the future.
To leave Local 88 stronger than we found it.

I couldn't be more honored to serve as your President during this exciting time in our union's history.

The future of Local 88 isn't something we wait for.
