Have you met Micaela?
For almost three years, Micaela has been holding down the fort as our Shift Manager. She owns and operates her own gluten free/vegan snack company that debuted at the Heavy Anchor in 2022, selling frozen pizzas S’Mohr Pizza Micaela first became accustomed with the Heavy Anchor by performing in stand up comedy shows and playing bass in a few bands. She’s grown a lot here, as if she needs to get any taller. Zing! This year she plans to further her education in social sciences.

Chocolate Tea Masala cupcakes with purple buttercream frosting for Jodie Timbrook’s birthday. Gluten free and vegan, because that’s what I do. I really enjoy this flavor profile as it’s not a common staple amongst cakes (think chocolate + chai spice). I’ve never piped icing in my life, so that’s going to take some practice, but I’ve been enjoying the sweet side of this passion project. 💜
