The Harris Stowe Bookstore is hiring for Summer and Fall 2021.

Duties include: customer service, inventory, handling transactions for books, (& food and merchandise in the Gillespie store), shipping and receiving, data entry and reporting and keeping our space clean, appealing and a great representation of the college.

Our ideal employee works well with a team, demonstrates excellent communication and customer service skills, is punctual, trustworthy and reliable. Must have basic computer skills. Cashier or service industry experience preferred.

Hours fluctuate depending on the workload. During the beginning and end of the semester, work can be up to 40 hours a week. We can guarantee 16 hours a week during slow times. We accommodate school schedules and personal commitments as a team.

We pay the St. Louis City minimum wage ($10.30 hr). This job is not a part of the work study program.
