We the People are ANGRY — here in Missouri and across the South — about SCOTUS gutting the Voting Rights Act of 1965, and the rollback of civil rights protections that had brought us closer to achieving racial justice in America.
And we are TIRED of racist gerrymandering that divides our communities and threatens our chance at multiracial representation that actually reflects who we are and what we value.
Join us tomorrow to say NO to gerrymandering in Missouri and YES to an America that means liberty and justice for all.
“We are NOT the enemy! A fascist regime is. The corporations squeezing us are. The racist state lawmakers stealing our freedoms are.” 📣
worker Iana McAllister joined the nationwide day of disruption on May Day because she knows the power of collective action.
It’s how she and her coworkers at Skinker won their initial vote for a union. It’s how they got majority worker support on their petition demanding Kaldi’s become a 4th Amendment Business that protects workers and denies entry to ICE.
And like Iana said, it’s how working people will win a country where *we* call the shots — not an elite minority:
“They want power over us. But without OUR labor, THEY don’t get to be billionaires. That’s why I didn’t work today!”

🗣️No billionaires in our backyards! 🗣️
On May Day, suburban, urban, and rural Missourians said loud and proud: we don’t want dirty data centers that threaten our jobs, our water and energy, and our way of life.
We blared speakers outside government buildings and Evergy headquarters, to give them a taste of their AI data centers’ noise pollution. We led teach-ins, car caravans, and protests to call out lawmakers who side with developers over their constituents.
All of us deserve to live in healthy communities, make a good living, and have a say-so in the decisions that affect our lives. When tech billionaires threaten those freedoms, the Show-Me state is ready to show them:
The many ✊🏿✊🏼✊🏽 will defeat the money ❌🎩!
