Welcome to episode two of “Spinnin’ Yarns” where we get to know the cast and crew of "Yarns: Stories & Plays” and their experience with the words of Ms. Hurston herself. Aquarian Rising Productions excitedly welcomes the incredibly talented Damaris Varner back to our stage! This is her second production with us following the remount of “A Colored Funeral” by Playwright-in-Residence, Gregory S. Carr.

Aquarian Rising Productions proudly presents the World Premiere of "Yarns: Stories & Plays" a collection of plays and stories written by the prolific Zora Neale Hurston. This play was adapted from stories and plays written by Hurston by ARP Playwright-In-Residence Gregory S. Carr and directed by Jaz Tucker. Featuring Damaria Varner, Jeremy Thomas, Archie Coleman, Sequoi, and Arriel Cummings.
