Speaker spotlight: H75

Tone Guide: Articulate, bright, woody, extremely well balanced.

Based on the Celestion G12H-75 Creamback®, this needs no introduction to the initiated. Of the two classic Creamback models, this one is built around a heavier, 50 oz. magnet. Builders love to use these in smaller cabinets, like 1x12's to give them a larger sound than the look like they should produce. This speaker works well on it's own in nearly any situation or in combination with scooped or dark speakers. You can really pair the H75 with just about any of our IRs (maybe not the M65 or K100) and find a sound you love.

Speaker Spotlight: H55

Here we have captures of a Celestion Heritage G12H 55Hz Greenback® speaker. This speaker was originally designed as a bass guitar speaker. Then players like Jimi Hendrix came along and turned what the world knew as guitar tone on it's head. Jimi used this speaker to reproduce the thick low end and creamy midrange that helped define an era. If you want classic 60's tone. This is it. In modern productions our H55 really shines on big distorted chords. It's also an outstanding choice as a foundation to build upon with multiple mics and speakers.
