Pouch & Pathway IBD Support
If you’ve ever walked hospital hallways carrying fear, exhaustion, and hope all at once — this is for you.
Chronic illness leaves marks most people never see. The waiting, the tears, the prayers, the quiet moments where survival is the only goal.
This page exists for those moments.
Support beyond surgery. 🤍
Healing doesn’t always look like getting back to who you were.
Sometimes it looks like learning how to live in a body that changed and still finding meaning, strength, and community along the way.
If you’re living with IBD, an ostomy, or a J-pouch and quietly doing the best you can, this is your reminder:
you’re not behind, you’re not broken, and you’re not alone.
Support beyond surgery. 🤍

People living with IBD want you to know this…
Inflammatory Bowel Disease isn’t just about the gut.
It isn’t something you can “diet away.”
And surgery doesn’t always mean the journey is over.
Many people living with IBD look fine on the outside while managing pain, fatigue, mental health struggles, and an unpredictable body every day.
This page exists to name the realities that often go unseen — and to remind people they’re not alone.
Support beyond surgery. 🤍
This comeback is personal.
It’s an apology to myself.
For everything my body has endured.
For every time survival was mistaken for strength.
Life with IBD and a J-pouch changes you — but it doesn’t erase you.
Support beyond surgery.

Living with ulcerative colitis and a J-pouch has taught me that surgery can save your life — but it doesn’t magically put you back together. Life after IBD surgery comes with physical, emotional, financial, and spiritual challenges that many people never talk about.
I didn’t handle it perfectly.
I survived because I had to.
This page exists for anyone walking this road — quietly carrying more than others know. Support shouldn’t end at discharge, and no one should have to navigate IBD alone.
Support beyond surgery.
Sometimes it looks like getting through another day because you have to.
This space exists for those who carried more than anyone knew.
You don’t have to do it alone here.
Hi, I’m the founder of Pouch & Pathway.
I lived with ulcerative colitis and now have A J-pouch, and my experience navigating life after surgery is what led me to create this community.
This space is for connection, encouragement, advocacy, and real-life support for those impacted by IBD.
I’m honored to walk this path alongside you.

Welcome to Pouch & Pathway 🤍
This community exists for those living with IBD — especially anyone navigating life after surgery, ostomy, or J-pouch.
Support doesn’t end at hospital discharge.
This space is about connection, encouragement, faith-friendly support, and shared experience.
Our long-term goal is to grow into a foundation that helps with transportation to medical care, family stability during illness, patient advocacy, and community events — but today, we start with community.
