☀️ Self-leadership begins with understanding the concept of "Self" and "Self-energy" as described in Internal Family Systems (IFS). The "Self" represents our core essence—the calm, compassionate, and confident part of us that remains steady, even in the face of challenges. "Self-energy," on the other hand, is the force that emerges when we are connected to this core Self, allowing us to lead with clarity and purpose.

✨ In IFS, we recognize that our psyche is made up of different parts, each with its own needs, fears, and desires. These parts often vie for control, leading to internal conflict. However, when we access our Self-energy, we can approach these parts with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment. This connection allows us to lead from within, making choices aligned with our true values and intentions.

🤩 Self-leadership is about cultivating this Self-energy to guide our thoughts, emotions, and actions. It empowers us to respond rather than react, to lead our inner world with the same care and wisdom we would offer others. By embracing Self + Self-energy, we create a harmonious internal environment, which in turn enables us to navigate life’s complexities with resilience and grace.
