Thanksgiving pre-orders have begun coming in. Breads, pies, my famous sweet potato brioche rolls, and babka. Only nine more days to place your order!
Also, I said I would update you on the status of my work load and whether or not I would be able to offer bread this weekend, and the status is that I am definitely not going to be able to make bread this weekend. I still have a long way to go until we're prepped up for the holiday pop-up bars and Tuesday opening day. I'm sorry for the lapse in bread availability and I hope you all understand. Regular bread will be back after Thanksgiving weekends though!

I also need to get this post up. If you're a newer patron of Upper Crust Bread, it's important that you know that it has always been a one-person outfit. And I, as the sole human behind Upper Crust Bread, have a separate, primary job at Planter's House where I bartend and manage all the cocktail related prep and production.
During this time of the year, there is a major transition from the regular menu to the holiday bar pop-ups and I usually have my work cut out for me with everything on the PH/Sippin' Santa side as well as some of the Miracle StL items. Everything gets super spicy for the next couple of months, but I try to at least get a mostly firm bread schedule for you all to reference.
So, here it is. Don't be fooled by the word "break" either. I'll still be next deep in something bread or bar related. Please also keep in mind that this is about 85% guaranteed. If bar things look like they may become overwhelming, I may have to change the availability a bit, but it shouldn't come to that.
Just keep me in mind if you visit one of the holiday bar pop ups this season. The fella that makes your bread almost certainly made your drink or something that's in it, hah
