Rustic Roots Sanctuary

This May, we had the privilege of hosting an incredible group of young men from the Christian Brothers College High School who collectively dedicated over 500+ hours of community service to the farm—while showing up with purpose, discipline, and heart. 🌱

From working the land to supporting daily farm operations, or packing Senior Bags, this team reminded us that when youth are given the opportunity, guidance, and responsibility to contribute to something greater than themselves, they rise to the occasion EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. We even have 2 of them wanting to join the team for the summer!

It’s imperative that we equip the next generation with the tools to not only support themselves, but also the communities they’re a part of. Teaching stewardship, teamwork, sustainability, leadership, and service creates young adults who understand the value of hard work and collective care. These experiences plant seeds far beyond the farm — they shape character, confidence, and community-minded leaders for the future.

We are deeply grateful for their time, energy, respect of the land, and willingness to serve. The future is bright with young people like this leading the way. 💚
