Drawing is probably the first thing that comes to mind when you think of fine motor activities. It’s easy, low mess, and there are lots of fun drawing activities you can try. Try using fatter pencils and markers for smaller hands or those having trouble. Triangular shaped pencils/markers can also help refine a wonky pencil grasp.

How cute is this? An easy yet educational project that deals with how rain occurs. To recreate this project you will need, shaving cream, blue food coloring, glass vase and a dropper. In four easy steps, you’ll have the kids amazed in like 4 seconds or so. Definitely one of the most entertaining and fun science experiments on my list!
Step one: Fill the vase ¾ full of water.
Step two: Fill the top of water with white foamy shaving cream.
Step three: Mix a separate bowl of water and food coloring. Using a dropper, start adding the colored water to the shaving cream.
Step four: Watch the cloud hold the colored water until it becomes too heavy and the colored water starts to rain!
