I got a message for this lost little gal, a young pullet, who was roosting in a family's window sill. She was easy to catch, and easy to find a home for!
Today she will go to a family that is in the rescue community, so i know she'll be safe 💜
I should be recovering from my travels but I spent my afternoon rescuing and transporting a lost banded pigeon!
Did you know that pigeons are domesticated and highly intelligent birds?
This little one is going to be well cared for at Wild Bird Rehabilitation Center in Overland!
How wonderful to be thought of in the rescue community as a safe person to help those in need ✌️💜🐦⬛

Day one of class has come and gone! I started the day with a bit of a hike, doing homework, and ended it hanging out with a fellow groomer while we snack and look at cows ✌️💜🐮
Class went very well. Mary Oquendo is a fantastic instructor and I feel prepared to save your pet's lives.
