On May 16, 2025, an EF3 tornado tore through St. Louis, damaging thousands of homes and reshaping North City communities.

One year later, filmmaker Cami Thomas premiered Red Brick Blue Tarp, a documentary reflecting on memory, recovery, and what it means to move beyond an anniversary.

At the premiere, she spoke about why she made the film and what she hopes people take away from it.
