I could’ve easily added 10 more things to this graphic 😂

Like drinking a ridiculous amount of water with minerals every day
Trying to get enough sleep (keyword… trying)
Using 2% ketoconazole to keep my seb derm in check
Wearing makeup most days to enhance that glow
Exercise
Getting hydration IVs when I can

But let’s start here…
If you look really close, my skin is not perfect
And it never will be
Nor should it be

A big part of this “glow” is actually just paying attention

I listen to my skin every single day
If something feels off, I think back
What have I been using
What’s changed
What is my skin trying to tell me

This past winter I thought I just had dry skin
So naturally I kept layering more and more on

Welp… it was actually seborrheic dermatitis

And I wouldn’t have figured that out if I wasn’t paying attention

It took me a minute
But I adjusted

That’s the part people don’t see
The trial and error
The pivoting
The consistency

So no… it’s not luck

If you want that kind of glow, I’ve got you 🤍

Right now, as I’m typing this, I’m a walking example of sluggish skin. If your eyes are tired, your skin is tired. That’s just how it works.

If you are wondering, nobody right now has glowing skin (unless you have somehow avoided the holiday madness or you are genetically gifted). The celebrations starting from Thanksgiving to now have caught up with your skin.

That’s not to mention the sickness going around. That’s another layer wrapped up into everyone’s dull, dry, and inflamed skin.

It’s time to reset!!
