Seven More Cats Rescue

Sweet Clover needs a home! Clover is a darling, a red tabby female who is super sweet and loves humans, especially children. She is a youngster, about 1 year old, out of the crazy kitten stage and a gentle, loving little girl. Clover is FIV positive, but that is only transmitted through deep bite wounds, not sharing litter boxes, food or mutual grooming. She is not a fighter! Most in rescue have an FIV+ cat in their household with their FIV- cats. This little girl was abandoned when her family was evicted, wandering around lost and confused until a kind person helped her.
Because of the stigma associated with FIV, cats like Clover have a very hard time finding homes. With a balanced, high-quality diet, love and regular yearly vet visits, FIV+ cats can live a normal lifespan.
Clover is just a nice girl. She really likes children, seemed unfazed by a recent canine visitor, and tolerates other cats, but would be fine as an only cat. If you would like to meet this sweetie, come visit and get to know her. She might be the one for you! ❤️🐈⬛

After losing little Molly yesterday, I dreaded going to the shelter today. So many memories, so many reminders. But life goes on, cats need care and love, and so another day begins. ❤️
Almost as if Molly was saying, ‘It’s okay friends, keep helping, keep trying’, a personal friend decided to add to her family, and took home two of our older kittens! Sweet Pixie was dumped on the street when her family was evicted, and little Lettie was found all alone at a local business. They went home together, and were welcomed by a new canine sister who needed some friends. We think our Molly is healthy and happy and watching over us, and would definitely approve. Happy life little girls! ❤️🐈⬛

UPDATE: This is so hard. Molly is gone. The doctor discovered cancer in Molly’s bile ducts and gall bladder. We couldn’t let her suffer any more. Thank you for your prayers, good wishes and donations. Thank you for caring. At least in her short life she knew love. We love you, Molly. 💔
If you follow us you know of our little mascot, Molly. Molly has had serious health issues recently, resulting in a feeding tube and 3 hospitalizations. She was being treated for triaditis, but, after numerous medications and special food, she was still losing weight and had a yellow cast to her gums and ears.
A second ultrasound was recommended, and this time it showed a very inflamed gall bladder with a biliary obstruction, ‘sludge’ that normally would have been filtered and passed.
As an emergency case, Dawn Dulle Harms rushed Molly to MO University in Columbia last night and she is having emergency surgery this morning to remove her gall bladder and assess exactly what is going on.
With 3 hospitalizations, countless meds, and now surgery, this little rescue cat has amassed bills nearing $10,000. We will find the money, Molly is loved and valued and deserves everything we can do for her. We’re not sure of the outcome, but we are determined to give her every chance we can.
If you are able to help us help Molly, it would be so appreciated. ❤️ Shelter Friends, Inc. is helping also, we all care so much about this baby and need her to be okay and come back to us. Molly could also use prayers and positive thoughts as she fights this battle. Thank you. 💔🐈⬛
