How To Make A Good Advertorial
One example is a Listicle Advertorial. This type of advertorial is a list of items. For example “7 Ingredients You Can Eat For Blood Sugar Control”
The advertorial lists out the 7 ingredients/foods, describes them and tells them that they can do it this way and source these foods or eat these large quantities to get an active dose. Or they can take this one supplement that has all 7 of these active ingredients plus 3 more.
So you are giving them valuable content and a call to action on how they can benefit from this info without having to source all the ingredients/food individually.
When you do this right your advertorial will start to get shares and spread the message/offer.
Here is a sample layout on how it should look.
1. Header Optin
2. Sidebar Offer
3. Content with 1-2 links in the copy.
3. Footer Offer
Don’t make it look like a news site or have a bunch of navigation links at the top that don’t work or they all go to the offer page. This is the quickest way to have native ad platforms and Google shut your account down.
You can have navigation links, but have them go to real articles/advertorials that are setup the same way. This way you are providing additional valued content the reader likes and so do the ad platforms.
