FOSTERS/ADOPTERS NEEDED @ St Charles Animal Control:

Update: ADOPTED
First we have a female merle American Bully who is a sweetheart. A recent mom, she is now fully vetted and ready for adoption. She is submissive with male dogs, but requires a meet/greet with female dogs. She would do great with older kids (may knock over smaller children).

Update on Gotti: Family Still Needed
Next is a fully vetted, crate trained male American Bulldog mix who is good with cats and fine with dogs in general but prefers to be the only dog where he lives (he wants ALL the pets). He is a couch potato, sweet and gentle but little kids make him nervous (older kids only).

If you are interested in either dog, comment below. They are currently in St Charles AC and need families ❀️🐾

Update 3p 7/20: Rick Ross is back with his foster and has been seizure free since Tuesday πŸŽ‰ He's had a 3rd seizure med added to his regimen so hopefully this cocktail will result in a reduced number of seizures per month. He's still really foggy (seizures essentially fry his poor brain so recovery is getting longer and harder 😒) but he is getting lots of love and rest now.

We only raised $285 of the $1575.43 we need to cover this bill so we are going to throw a T shirt fundraiser up soon. Epilepsy is a very expensive condition but we committed to Rick Ross and his 2 siblings and we refuse to walk away or put him down. Hopefully you all feel the same way and will continue to support us in our mission to save bully breeds from euthanasia ❀️ We can't do this without you, we know times are tight....but we still really need your help in order to keep operating. Please? πŸ™

Update 2:30p: VSS has finally gotten Rick's seizures to stop but he's not ambulatory yet; he has been on such high powered drugs that he still can't get up or move on his own. Hopefully he will metabolize the meds over the next day without starting to seize again. Our current Total is: $1575.43 😒 We've raised $200 so far (thank you Ren ❀️). Please donate, he is so worth it 😍

πŸ†˜πŸ›‘πŸ†˜Rick Ross was hospitalized at VSS again this weekend for uncontrolled seizures (he had 15 over 1 day 😒). They started him on a new medication (phenobarbital) but we need to raise $1500 to get him out of the hospital.

Please help us help Rick Ross, when we dropped him off he couldn't see or walk, we are trying so hard to get his medication mix right but it takes time and lots of $. Rick is such a goofy, happy boy, he's worth saving over and over.

Please donate today, we hate asking but Rick needs it. We appreciate each and every one of you!
