This ISL team demonstrated incredible care, attentiveness, and advocacy in a recent situation that ultimately saved their client’s life. After their client returned home from an outpatient procedure, the team remained attentive and intentional in how they supported him, closely following all recommended monitoring. When they began to notice changes, they didn’t hesitate—they checked in with his doctor and continued to keep a close eye on him. Trusting their instincts and truly knowing the person they support, they made the decision to take him to the emergency room. That decision made all the difference. Doctors discovered serious complications that required immediate intervention, and it became clear that without the team’s quick thinking and follow-through, the outcome could have been devastating. The team showed what it truly means to care deeply for the people we support. Their teamwork, intuition, and commitment did not just make a difference....they saved a life.
