Did you know firefighters while on their 48 hour shifts are responsible for shopping and cooking for their own meals? Super cool!
Each of the three crews has their very own fridge and freezer to do their meal planing.
We want to say thank you to our amazing community members, especially Sumsion Ranch for donating a steer to the Springville Fire Fighters Local 5439. With the 6 bags (nearly 500 lbs) of local raised beef, all three crews will be able to fill their freezers.
These projects are what help our local first responder teams feel the love from the community!
We had Springville Meat who helped, and got this steer all perfect and ready for them!
We love this community and all of the amazing people at Springville City. Thank you!
If you’d like to support our cause with a financial donation or items for first responders, reach out to us 🙂

Great work Springville Police Department! Thank you for keep our city safe and holding the line.
Fun Facts:
Every day of February almost 4 (3.7) people were arrested just in Springville City😮
Another fun fact is Springville officers on a volunteer basis fill Utah State DUI shifts. Every month thanks to our City and Department Administrators they receive grants (extra shifts) which serve two amazing purposes, one they give officers dedicated shifts to just looking for DUI’s. and two, officers can volunteer to get hours. We thank those officers who spent extra time outside of their normal patrol to help!

Welcome to our organization! This foundation is designed and created to support and financially back the already great first responder communities around us. Specifically created in the great City of Springville, along side our wonderful city and agency administration. The Springville First Responders Foundation is a separate entity to that of any government organization. We are just a few local community members who have gathered together to help where we can.
We have been unanimously supported in our creation and launch of this foundation by our local cities and first responder agencies. We work closely with them to find the highest and best use of our funds, and where we can lift and support as needed. This foundation is volunteer only and no proceeds or funds can be used for any members of the organization.
A little about where we are from and what we have been doing. Peer support programs are newer to Utah State. Our aim is to assist in providing additional funds to first responders peer support programs. To help their health, both mental and physical, and to help as we can as a community to increase their job satisfaction as they serve and protect those we love. Our first responders are called to see the worst of the worst, to hold the line, save lives, and to protect and serve our communities. At Springville and Mapleton, we hope to lead the charge, and rally around ALL of our first responders. As a community we aim to show our support, and our appreciation for all of their sacrifices. The SVFRF and Springville's Peer Support Team has assisted other great agencies in the creation of a Utah County wide peer support program, where first responders of all agencies can gain support, and help from their peers.
We encourage and greatly appreciate donations to help us in our mission. springvillefirstrespondersfoundation.org
