When Yvonne found out she was pregnant with twins, her joy mingled with her fear that she might not be able to feed her children. Today, we’re celebrating !
The holiday celebrates African American history and culture, and the end of slavery on June 19, 1865. Juneteenth not only calls for us to reflect on history, but also on the continued work ahead.
Freedom is a fundamental human right, and Convoy of Hope remain dedicated to helping all people thrive with dignity and hope.
