Rare Breed is a non-profit organization that provides immediate access to basic needs and rapid access to community services for homeless and at-risk youth ages 13-24. Their staff is trained to work with youth to build life skills that will help them go on to lead healthy, independent lives. Unity Spiritual Center has supported Rare Breed in the past and one of our members is organizing a donation drive for them for items needed as we move into warmer months.

Here are the items needed:
Deodorant
Small bottles of shampoo & conditioner
Sunscreen
Protein snack items
Tank tops (men & women's sizes)
Shorts (men & women's sizes)

Please bring your items to church by May 25th. Thank you in advance for helping with this worthy cause!

Rare Breed Youth Services - The Kitchen Rare Breed serves youth ages 13-24 who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Rare Breed is open Monday-Friday 11am-5pm. Call (417) 865-6400.

Explorer's Group meets just before service and are discussing thoughts about Earnest Holme's book "How to Use the Science of Mind". They have gotten through the first couple chapters as a group so feel free to catch up, (or not!) and enjoy conversation on the topic. (there are free digital copies of this book online!) this begins at 9:30, before the 11am service.
