Wittenberg University Honors Program

Happy end of the semester! As you’re packing up to go home and getting rid of things, keep an eye out for our Annual Honors Clothing Drive boxes so we can pass them along to those in need! Thank you to APO for helping us with this event!

Today we highlight senior Leah Green. Leah is an Accounting and Finance major and plans to work with GBQ Partners and study for her CPA exams after graduation. In her time at Witt, she earned the Dorthy Shaw Leadership Award for Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Her favorite memory at Wittenberg is her trip to South Africa and Lesotho. She reflects on how experiencing new cultures, completing multiple service projects while on a trip to Lesotho through a Wittenberg Service trip.

Today we highlight senior Jane Javorek. Jane is an Environmental Science major and will be working as a Community Science Educator at the Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont after graduation. Jane received the Outstanding Achievement in Biological & Environmental Sciences award. She’s most enjoyed the time she’s spent with friends during her time at Witt.

Today we highlight senior Alex McGinnis. Alex is an Environmental Science major and plans to work as a seasonal biological field station assistant at The Ohio State University’s Stone Laboratory on Gibraltar Island after graduation. Alex achieved placement on the Dean’s list every semester at Wittenberg and his favorite memory of his time is participating in trivia nights, volleyball tournaments, and meeting amazing people through his fraternity, Delta Sigma Phi.
