EarthBound Dirt Worx

Finally decided to post a job we did for a good buddy back in late summer. Running a new waterline from the well to the house unfortunately, we ran into a built-in swimming pool that had been filled in. We simply cut through the metal lining and kept digging. Small little setback had this one cut in and connected at just about two hours . Earthbound 💪 I would also like to give a shout out to the homeowner Don. Much appreciate the opportunity to work with you.

We have started a regrade project and are making progress. Given the current temperatures, the ground remains suitable for work.

One more re rock job for homeowners Ron and Pam, who are pleased that we can complete this project within just two full days. We take our time to meticulously cut in the edges for a precise fit. This attention to detail results in a superior finished product. We had just over 80 tons of new CA6 to install and grade.

We have just completed a 4-day project. On this occasion, the homeowners had a couple of water issues. They had approximately 20 feet of undersized 24-inch culvert pipe that we first had to dig and remove. Then, we replaced it with 40 feet of 36-inch solid corrugated pipe. The second issue involved an old pond area that the homeowners wanted to fill in and install another 40 feet of 36-inch pipe. In this area, we determined the grade and set the new culvert in place. And then, for the final stage, we brought in approximately 25 loads of fill dirt (375 tons). I would like to extend my gratitude to my coworker and friend Mark Yoggerst. Couldn’t have accomplished it without him. Earthbound also had the pleasure of meeting and working with two wonderful homeowners, Ron and Pam. We look forward to collaborating on more projects in the future. Thanks to everyone involved.

So we have another re rock drive to do. Homeowners decided they would like to have this widened by approximately 3 feet (18 inches on each side). So we excavated and removed 5 inches down on each side for the new rock to settle in. Then we hauled in 35 tons of new CA six material; thanks to Brent Grable for that delivery. Finally, we spread and graded and, with the help of the homeowner, also compacted it using a plate compactor. With the homeowner happy, that’s a win for us at Earthbound.

Our second job was a substantial undertaking for us. Firstly, we installed 30 ground protection mats from the street to the backyard area. Then, we transported seven truckloads of fill and two loads of rich black dirt to complete the project. (We would like to extend our appreciation to Dan, the homeowner, for his relentless support and assistance throughout the project.) Thank you Dan.
