Step into a piece of Springfield history at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum! ๐ญ
The Pillsbury Flour Mills Window Exhibit explores the lasting impact of the Pillsbury Flour Mills plant โ once one of Springfieldโs largest employers and a driving force on the cityโs north side.
At its peak, the mill employed nearly 1,500 people and produced more than a million pounds of flour each day, helping shape generations of Springfield families and neighborhoods. Through photographs, tools, flour sacks, memorabilia and more, discover the stories of the workers and community behind this iconic industry.
