Pond Eco-Management

Hi Pond Eco Friends,

I have good news and bad news I'm afraid... First the good news:

I have accepted a promotion into the IDNR, Fisheries Division working on aquaculture permitting, aquatic nuisance species, and other division needs as assigned. Very excited to start this new adventure as much time, work, and schooling has been invested that led to this opportunity. 👍🏻

The bad news is Pond Eco-Management must be dissolved as I cannot operate in both capacities without conflict.

I had a wonderful time with this the last three years. Taking an idea and building a successful, part-time, small business is no easy task. I enjoyed working with each client and hope I was able to give them a new perspective on pond management. Thank you for the opportunity to help!

On the water today assessing a pond in the Springfield area. Major complaint; algae growth and looking for management options. It's a deep pond for its size, 30 feet at max! 😮

Met with a proud new pond owner today to talk about the next steps to making the best backyard fishing hole it can be; the right habitat, fish, plants, and water quality! This pond has great character and should turnout very nice! 👍🏻
