📣📣Local 1019 members!
AFSCME Local 1019 will hold a special meeting on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 5:45 p.m., to have nominations, elections, and, if needed, runoffs for up to four (4) delegates and up to five (5) alternates to attend the AFSCME International Convention. The Convention will be held in Chicago on August 17-21, 2026. Guests are also welcome to attend.

While the meeting will be in person and on Zoom, voting for these elections will be done in person only. You don’t need to be present to be nominated, but you must be available on Zoom or over the phone to accept the nomination.
AFSCME Local 1019 will reimburse lost wages and other convention expenses for all delegates, but alternates and guests are responsible for their own expenses unless an alternate becomes a delegate.
Note: Local 1019 members must be in-person to vote in this election, but may otherwise attend virtually via Zoom.
