Another graduation ceremony was recently held at the FATAD Bible school extension in Huambo, where leaders are being trained to serve the churches of the rapidly growing Assemblies of God in Angola and to teach in their diploma-level extension training program. We are excited about this most recent class of graduates—men and women who are impacting the interior of Angola with the message of Jesus Christ! Spirit-empowered, biblically trained leaders are truly the hope of Africa.

It's finally here! We're so excited to announce the release of this long-awaited book by David Faouzi Arzouni! From the Crescent to the Cross: Shepherding Muslim-Background Believers describes Arzouni’s approach to serving in Muslim contexts, which he developed after many years of ministry. Undergirding this approach is the belief that pastoral care should not be compartmentalized when working with Muslims but should be part of the evangelistic effort from the beginning. Arzouni looks to the example of Christ and His interaction with His first-century culture to draw parallels to reaching Muslims today. From the Crescent to the Cross considers the major challenges facing missionaries working in Muslim contexts, describes how to prepare converts to address issues in their Islamic past, and provides guidance for practical issues and discussions the practitioner will likely encounter.

The Pentecostal Pastor's Manual has now been translated into 10 African languages! It is being printed, shipped, and distributed in a number of countries. Our goal is to put one in the hands of every AG pastor and Bible school student in Africa!
