The VR Cyber KeyMaster - N.B. Retro Arts

Besides the Kenner GhostBusters line, I was a die-hard fan of Beetlejuice eventually. I wanted the Kenner line but unfortunately I didn't grow up with it. I wish they had done Ecto-Plazm for it, so I'm making my own! Question is should I call it Geist-Juice, Geist-Plazm or simply Ecto-Plazm? Hmmmm hard decisions... What sounds the best?

The new Series 5, well 6 if you count Pink replaced Red in 1989.

Kenner originally wanted green Plazm when launching the line, but it was passed up because of the reissue of Mattel Slime in 1986 for the then new Horde Slime Pit.

However Kenner could have simply released it in 1989/90... especially with Gooper Ghost Slimer! They did after all change Red to Pink in 89 too. I would have been excited for a new color and more figurines to collect! Who could pass up potentially collecting 13 more variants of all the previous ghosts PLUS 1 new Spud! Heck, they could have released the figurines in both Neon Green and Chartreuse Yellow-Green for a total of 28 more figurines to collect!

I chose the simplicity of the previous Green Ghost puppet design, as it perfectly matches the feel for the Plazm line. Especially since the Kenner line didn't include a scaled down size of Slimer outside of the 2 deluxe figures. Now if only someday I can get a 3D sculpt designed... So many ideas over the past 40 years...

I might make these into prints and magnets eventually. Plus shirts.

And here we have the latest developments of the Plazm labels. All text errors have been dealt with, I think... Everything is set in place, hopefully perfectly! I just lack finalizing the proper shaded and colored slime layers.

Ah yes, I heard the gossip from Dr. D and his goons. Poor guys, always jealous of others who do all the work.

Kenner Aliens Queen Hive has arrived, as usual the Ooze was dried but mine had a surprise....hair. Yes, a lucky Kenner/Hasbro employee left a strand of hair in the Ooze before it was sealed. 😂

Oh well, off to the archive dried Ooze. Another direct match of "Neon Yellow Ecto-Plazm", just like the Jabba the Hut Jabba Glob.

Now my can is filled with fresh Hive Ooze that'll hopefully outlive me. Guess I should eventually get around to trying to restore the Hive Ooze label and make a larger Plazm size version. Hey Ray, clean up you filthy animal, we don't have time for a Ooze bath today!

I remastered the Mattel Slime compound logo of the back of the 1986 MOTU Masters of the Universe can. In Neon Green and '86 retro Chartreuse Yellow-Green

I need focused high resolution pictures of the rest of the can assets. My can is unfortunately in storage, likely with my Slime Pit.
If anyone can take those high res pics, email them to me. Don't post to Facebook, it will compress the images, losing quality.
