Today we remember Springfield Police Officer Kevin E. Ambrose on the anniversary of his End of Watch, June 4, 2012.

After 36 years of dedicated service to the Springfield Police Department, Officer Ambrose made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting a mother and her child. His bravery and selfless actions saved two lives and left a lasting legacy of courage, honor, and service.

We are forever grateful for his commitment to our community and to all law enforcement officers who put themselves in harm’s way to protect others.

Gone, but never forgotten.
