A simple pair of socks can make a world of difference.

We are incredibly grateful to Hanes and their initiative for donating 750 pairs of socks for men, women, and children to the Springfield Rescue Mission.

Socks are one of the most requested items among individuals and families experiencing hardship. Thanks to Hanes' generosity, we can help provide comfort, warmth and dignity to those we serve throughout the Greater Springfield community.

Thank you Hanes for making a meaningful impact in our community!

We did it thanks to YOU ๐ŸŽ‰

Because of the incredible generosity of our community, we are thrilled to share that we EXCEEDED our May Matching Challenge goal!

We are deeply grateful to every individual, family, business, church and organization that made a gift during this campaign. Your generosity will help provide more meals, shelter, recovery support and hope to those who need it most.

A special thank you to the Anthony M. & Lea Scibelli Foundation for providing the matching funds that made this challenge possible and inspired so many to give.

Thank you again for helping us exceed our goal and change lives. Together, we are making a lasting impact.

๐ŸŽ‰ Volunteer of the Month Spotlight: Lee! ๐ŸŽ‰

Lee is the kind of volunteer who makes a lasting impact everywhere he goes. Always cheerful and welcoming, he brings kindness and encouragement to everyone he serves making each day a little brighter for those around him.

Whenever weโ€™re short staffed and a call for help goes out, Lee is one of the first to step up. Not only is he dependable and ready to help when needed, but heโ€™s constantly asking what more he can do to support the mission.

His reliability, servant heart and positive spirit make him an outstanding volunteer and truly โ€œan all-around great guy to work with.โ€ Weโ€™re grateful to call Lee a forever friend at the Springfield Rescue Mission.

Thank you, Lee, for all you do! ๐Ÿ‘

A group of men from our New Life Program recently enjoyed a day trip to Southwickโ€™s Zoo and what an incredible time they had! ๐Ÿฆ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿฆ

From seeing the animals to sharing laughs and conversations together, the day was filled with fellowship and meaningful moments outside of their daily routines.

Weโ€™re grateful for experiences and opportunities like these that remind our men they are able to enjoy the simple joys of life together โค๏ธ

Congratulations Ses! ๐ŸŽ‰

He has completed SRM's New Life II Class! When he received his certification he shared, "This Word is saving my life. This Word has done wonderful things and the more I surrender to it, it does more wonderous things. 'This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.' Psalm 118 symbolizes my life here. Thank you all and glory be to God."

Today, we remember and honor all of those who gave their lives so that we may have freedom. "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." John 15:13

Today, we remember and mourn with those who are grieving their loved ones who are no longer with us. "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18

Today, we remember and pray for you all. God bless.
