Double Helix Nigerian Dwarf Goats

Our largest oak fell PERFECTLY between the house and pump house. Zero structural damage. We had Grace leave her bedroom in the morning, then 20 min before it fell, Kyle moved her car. It would
Have been crushed. Later a different oak split, dropping next to the other side of the pump house. Again, no damage.
Last fall we had two very tall trees taken down near the barn, and our big cherry blossom tree by the front door/porch. Surely we would have had serious damage if those trees were still there.
Not out of the woods yet. Two firs near Grace’s room are weighed down and more ice coming later today.

All animals safe and keeping each other warm. The pigs are still unfazed, happily rooting around in all the fresh debris of the falling branches.
