I came home to a surprise yesterday after work and I want to say thank you to the person who left me the surprise. Thank you for the generous gift but thank you more for allowing the Lord to work through you and bring Him glory! It was just what was needed in words and provision.
It's time to get your taters ready. Remember seed potatoes are different than regular store bought and produce better. Quarter them with a couple of eyes and let them sit for at least 3 to 4 days to make a tough skin. Plant and If they germinate and we get a cold snap cover them up with a bucket or a box and uncover when the sun comes back out. Some people cover with straw or mulch. Build soil around them as they grow leaving the tops uncovered. They are ready when the tops flower and die back. Unless you want baby potatoes then dig them up early.
