Rotary Club of Springfield Sunrise

On Wednesday morning, we finished off our last Sunrise morning meeting at Hickory Hills for this Rotary year. We started with Jayson Workman removing the new member sticker for Danny Perches. Colleen shared about our 26 new members for our 2025-2026 Rotary Year. Shawn Gallagher was presented with the “social butterfly” award by Marcus Puryear for attending the most social events this year. Lastly, Abigail, our Peacebuilder chair had us all mingling and meeting members we don’t know well. It was a wonderful club social meeting to wrap up a fantastic Sunrise Rotary year! 🤍

Yesterday we attended the annual Rotary President’s Panel at the Rotaract Club of Springfield meeting. Our President Jessica Harmison Olson shared information about our club with Rotaract members & we had several of our own members there to support.

We were also named the winners of the Rotary Membership Drive that helped recruit new members to Rotaract. We are always so happy to support our young Rotarians!

*We enjoyed one last Sarge report from the amazing Ryan Hurn with a drumroll, a slideshow and a standing ovation 👏
*We had the honor of listening to Coach Casey Woods, the head football coach at MSU. We enjoyed his energy and passion for his role…Go Bears!
