After 30 years of keeping the lights on, Springfield Utility Board’s GM Jeff Nelson is officially retiring ⚡ He has decided to cut the power to his alarm clock, strip away his daily grind, and switch his focus entirely to rest, relaxation, and hobbies.

Thank you to Jeff for his dedication to serving the Springfield community. At the Springfield Chamber, Jeff served on the Board of Directors for ten years (2013-2016, 2021-2026), acted as interim CEO for several months (2015), and chaired the Tailgate Auction Committee for several years. We are grateful for his contributions across an impactful tenure leading SUB.

From now on, Jeff is strictly off the grid, and we wish him and his family all the best.
