Brit's Dog Training

Hi! My name is Maria and I’m a dog trainer for Brit’s Dog Training. I’m currently accepting new clients for both our in-home training and board and train programs. Both programs teach basic obedience and troubleshoot common problems you may experience with your own pup, such as: potty training, nipping, jumping on visitors, crate training, barking, etc.

A little about me:
In college, I double majored in Elementary Education and Special Education. I conducted an action research project on Applied Behavior Analysis and fell in love with ABA, which is the foundation for training new behaviors through reinforcement in both kids and pups. As an elementary teacher, I used ABA daily in my classroom. In 2020, I met Brit through a friend and began training for BDT. Since then, I’ve worked with countless families helping them effectively train, establish boundaries, and connect with their dog on a deeper level.

This is a picture of my own pup last October when she earned all three tiers of her Canine Good Citizen titles and two Trick Dog titles in one day!
