Victory Mission

There are always reasons to rejoice in God's goodness at our shelter.

This week, we're celebrating Neal and Ronald as they take an exciting next step and move into their own apartments.

Moments like these are a reminder that restoration is possible when people are surrounded by hope, support, and the love of Christ.

The scoreboard barely mattered.

Our Men's Restoration Program alumni took on the current men in the program in a baseball game, and for a couple of hours, it felt like something straight out of The Sandlot.

There was plenty of cheering and more than a few questionable calls and we loved every second of it.

As we celebrate Independence Day, we're reminded that real independence looks different for every man who walks through our doors.

A first paycheck. A place to call home.
Providing for family. Coming back as an alumnus and realizing just how much life has changed.

Watching former residents share the field with men still walking through restoration was a reminder that change is real.

And sometimes it looks like a grown man trying to turn a single into a double while his teammates yell at him from the dugout.
