As most of you know our granddaughter Destinie has profound hearing loss bilaterally. She has a hearing aid in her R ear and recently got cochlear implant for her L ear. She is learning and adapting to a new way of hearing and enjoying her new hearing journey. While this is exciting and new; it take a lot of work and effort and a community of support. The walk is just one of the great way to learn more about the Deaf and hard of hearing community. It is a great cause, has fun activities for the kids. It's truly an amazing community.
