Missing my Grandpa today sometimes I just want to call him to tell him what’s going down.
He used to tell me every morning when I called him to chat for the day.

The harder I work the luckier I will get.
He got up every day of his life in the 4am hour. In his last days on Earth I would get up at 3:30 am go over to my moms house and lift him out of bed and get him to the couch for the day. One morning grandma text me at 3:20 like she always did you coming over honey to help grandpa I replied yes. When I got there 30 mins later She had passed away on her makeup table underneath her wedding photo taken over 58 years earlier.
I remember my grandpa asking me to take him in there so he could see her. Then he put his giant hand on my face and started crying. He lived for 18 more days. They believed in me when everyone else gave up They taught me to work hard and play harder. They showed me how to love someone unconditionally.
They are the reason NTTD is who he is. Miss you both. I know your watching from heaven. But I wish I could call you to tell you that I made it that all the hard work is paying off. Thank you so much love we you both so much. As long as I’m alive I will keep waking up at 4 am even if it’s just for the reason of being awake for another beautiful day.

I am a high school dropout. I was in rehab and had a kid by the time I was 17 years old. I’ve been homeless three times lost everything I ever had multiple times, been divorced watched my family members be addicted to drugs watch my house burned to the ground two years ago today, but I never gave up I wish I could explained all of you how good I feel right now
I sat in this parking lot one year ago looking at this building visualizing what you see here today a personal training studio and a nutrition center.
10 years ago this month I opened the studio with $ 500 dollars to my name.
So many times In my life I have been scared to death wondering will it work stomach in knots deciding to give it a shot.
